What does the Waltham Conservation Area mean for my project?
The Waltham Conservation Area is one of North East Lincolnshire Council’s designated areas, protected for its special architectural or historic interest. Inside it, external work is judged against the area’s character, and because a conservation area is article 2(3) land, some permitted development rights — including certain roof additions — are removed, so work that needs no application elsewhere can need full permission here.
